Phase, voltage and current

Many Japanese motors are basically 3 phases, 200 or 220 volts, 50 or 60 Hz.
Thus, it’s necessary to convert your building’s electrical source into 3-phases, 200 or 220volts, 50 or 60Hz with transformer.
Please let us know the accurate information about the phase, voltage, and current of your building’s electrical source in advance.
According to the circumstances, we might be unaccountable for a problem occurred accidentally due to different from factory environment.


We basically dispatch after having a remittance from your company.
The equipments should arrive at your nearest port.
Delivery will take at least 2 weeks but no more than 2 months for ocean shipping and another 1 to 2 weeks for cross country shipping.
note: There are some countries we can't export our machinery because of the foreign exchange law and the foreign trade control law.

Responsibility for the export and import

Export payment condition is FOB Japan basically.
Ocean freight, import entry and insurance after shipment of cargo at Japanese port are your company’s responsibility.
Please let us know the time line so that installation and test-run are performed properly.

Installation and overhaul by our engineer

In case of necessity, we send off our engineer or staff. The cost depends on the period, the number of people and the detail of the installation and overhaul.


Each customer is responsible about daily maintenance and ordinary repair on equipment. Thus, we recommend our all of customers to keep spare parts. We provide maintenance manuals plus electrical and mechanical schematic diagrams so that most repairs can be made by a local engineer as far as possible.


The inspection will be administered as below.

2. Operation check after test-run at your factory


Takai offers either of shorter warranty periods, one-year or 2400-hours-passed, beginning from the date that the equipment is delivered to you. In case of machine failure due to defective equipment, Takai agrees to immediately send the required spare parts at no charge to you (but consumable parts such as stone-mills, clothes, and rubber-made products are out of warranty) and Takai will pay the necessary installation charges (i.e. plumber, electrician) and communication costs (but you must submit proof of expenses for reimbursement to Takai). Repairs conducted after warranty period are chargeable.

Our engineer and staff

When our engineer and staff go to your factory to install equipment, we will visit other companies using our equipment to do maintenance at the customer’s request and expense.
